The Music

Taking Root’s original soundtrack was composed by Samite Mulondo. “Writing music for this film was a healing experience in itself.  The film clips that I viewed while composing were very moving and many times I felt so connected to Wangari and what she experienced, that it felt like she gave me the songs to write.”
