One Earth Film Festival

One Earth Film Festival (OEFF) is the Midwest’s premier environmental film festival.  Their 5th annual event will be taking place March 4 – 6, 2016 in the Chicagoland area. The festival is presented by Green Community Connections, a community non-profit organization, which produces the festival for purposes of sustainability education and awareness. All films are free of charge.

Taking Root: The Vision of Wangari Maathai will be screened on Saturday, March 5th at 12:30 PM.  The film was screened in the five years ago in the festival’s inaugural year and was so popular it is being brought back as the 2016 Encore Screening Event!
